A family run guest house which dwells in the heart of Fort Cochin. Kapithan Inn is one of the premier B&B’s of Fort Cochin.

We are ideally located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, overlooking Santa Cruz Ground - a green park surrounded by huge rain trees of almost 300 years old, and behind Santa Cruz Cathedral, the 500 year old Roman Catholic Church. Kapithan Inn has very close to access to all the spots of touristic interests, restaurants and eateries.

We have an open terrace garden overlooking the green park surrounded by giant rain trees. Here the breakfast is served and the guests relax peacefully reading their favorite book,or while away their time talking to other guests

If you arrive by train / flight to Cochin, you can hire a prepaid auto/taxi. We are located facing Santa Cruz ground (a green park) and behind Santa Cruz Church – these two are very popular landmarks in Fort Cochin.

The distance from Cochin airport to Fort Cochin is 45 km., from the central train station just 15 km, and barely 1 km. from Fort Cochin ferry station

We also provide airport pick-up on prior request. You are welcome at any hour of the day, just enter the open gate press the bell/buzzer, there is always somebody to welcome you. Advance booking is requested during the peak season.
